Bright Horizons Yesler Childcare Center

Our team has worked with Bright Horizons Family Solutions since 2003 on many childcare facilities of various sizes throughout Washington and California. Projects range from modest finish upgrades of existing facilities, to 15,000 s.f. tenant improvements of facilities serving several hundred children, to ground-up projects requiring full land-use entitlements. This ongoing relationship speaks to the dedication of our staff and the value we place on serving and maintaining long-term client relationships.
This hyper-urban childcare center is part of a mixed-use development on a steep grade. The center is designed to shelter and give privacy to children from nearby foot and vehicle traffic while creating generous outdoor play space observable from all internal classrooms. Additionally, classrooms grant sweeping views of downtown Seattle. The project was the first open-to-structure design for the client, offering a unique feel and optimal space in below-grade areas.
