City of Hope Seacliff

Duarte, CA

The City of Hope Seacliff Medical Oncology Clinic is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to provide comprehensive cancer care and expand outpatient oncology services in Orange County. The clinic serves as a sister facility to the new cancer center in Irvine and the attached micro-hospital, catering to patients from 7 offices across Orange County and Los Angeles. The clinic transitioned from an outpatient medical office building setting to OSHPD 3, under a hospital license, which involved working with a third-party OSHPD 3 reviewer contracted through the City of Huntington Beach.

The clinic features a medical oncology clinic, infusion services, a compounding pharmacy, and research space. It has been designed with a clean, modern aesthetic, with a lobby space that leans towards a mid-century style rather than the coastal feel of other City of Hope locations. The infusion space is crafted to be calming, with large abstract beachscape wall coverings and 3form panels used to separate patient bays. The clinic offers private or social patient bays, a DigniCap room for hair maintenance during treatment, and a fast-track intake room for quick injections.
