An adaptation of the Toyota Production System’s Production, Preparation, Process, 3P (people, preparation, process) is designed to achieve measurable results in patient care, efficient workflows & operating systems, and higher satisfaction for patients and staff. This often calls for a 3P event where patients and providers work alongside the project team to develop an ideal work process that eliminates waste and inefficiencies. This hands-on, week-long event involves building full-scale cardboard mockups, allowing the team to test design ideas through physical models. By working closely with the end users, we are able to design a building that truly fits their needs.
