Boulder Community Foothills Hospital Tebo Family Medical Pavilion
Boulder, CO
The Tebo Family Medical Pavilion at Boulder Community Foothills Hospital in Boulder, Colorado is an innovative 42,000-square-foot fully integrated outpatient cancer center that treats patients through traditional medicine options as well as comprehensive holistic therapies. The facility consolidates previously fragmented cancer treatment services such as imaging, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, minor procedures, acupuncture, and massage therapy under one roof.
Situated in the foothills of Colorado’s Front Range, the architecture takes a modern twist on the mountain lodge, maximizing natural light and the dramatic views of the Boulder Flatirons. Brick, stone, and exposed structural steel, highlighted with copper paneling, echo the regional forms to create a unique and warm environment both inside and out. A two-story lobby with an open staircase, wood slat ceilings, and a large fireplace detailed in slate and copper, create a comfortable, day-lit space. Three outdoor gardens serve as an escape for patients taking part in yoga classes, massage therapy, tai-chi and art therapy.
