Part of a larger planned medical campus intended to serve the greater Longmont community, this facility is situated on a gateway site along a major thoroughfare. This new two-story facility for a growing group of orthopedic and spine surgeons will provide ambulatory surgery services, rehabilitation, imaging, and clinical space. Working with the medical staff and using full scale cardboard mock ups, several 3P planning events were used to explore exam room layouts and clinic reception desk configuration. The project is designed to warmlyl welcome patients and family with ample views to the front range mountains, a sky lit double height atrium and the use of natural materials.
