Lakeview Health is a nationally recognized and accredited gender-responsive addiction treatment provider. They provide medically monitored detox, inpatient rehab, residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), aftercare services, and integrative health.

The goal of this project was to fit three very uniquely programmed buildings onto a very small site adjacent to a lake, that blended with an existing related structure and fit within the residential aesthetic surrounding the area. The Fitness Center is a two-story open space for boot camp and weight training, with an elevated running track, outdoor pool, and a juice bar and yoga room as well. The Conference Center has a 1,400 s.f. of divisible classroom space and a catering kitchen for hosting events; the Administrative Building consists of 7,250 s.f. of office space—both spaces have unique outdoor patios attached which overlook the lake.

The client’s vision was to create a “Center of Excellence” that was more residential and welcoming to patients. Integration of wood and stone finishes into the material palette give the project an increased sense of elegance and a warm, comfortable feeling.
