This new cardiovascular ASC project was initiated in response to new regulations permitting cardiovascular procedures in an outpatient environment, as no licensed surgery center was available in the area to perform these procedures outside of a hospital setting. The 9,500 s.f., 2-OR facility features highly complex GE imaging equipment alongside traditional operating room apparatus.

Operating rooms feature illuminated cabinets designed to ensure all devices are easily accessible. The lighting system is highly specialized, offering a range of adjustments and dimming options to cater to various procedural requirements.

The project was designed with the new HCAHPS evaluation system in mind, which will assess patient opinions on their environmental surroundings. With this foresight, materials were selected not only for their functionality but also for their contribution to a visually appealing space that enhances the patient experience.
