The Amber Creek Medical Office Building expands Intermountain Health’s clinical footprint and acts as the “front door” to its hospital in Brighton, serving as a crucial link between patients and the larger hospital ecosystem. The MOB houses two pods dedicated to OBGYN and orthopedics and encompasses 20 exam rooms.

Because of its relationship to the North Brighton MOB, the site required a design matching the existing aesthetic while fitting within the Amber Creek development. The design team skillfully navigated these constraints to create a building that stands as a sister project to North Brighton MOB while maintaining its own identity.

This design challenge extended to the building’s orientation; with the front facing away from the main thoroughfare and towards a King Soopers, it was crucial to treat the east and west facades as prominent features. The design solution was to create a welcoming nod to the front door on the west side, ensuring visibility and accessibility.
